What is the future going to look like? Can people control their own destiny? Who is going to take responsibility for the state of the world? Are we doing all that we can to prepare our children for the global challenges they will be facing? These are just some of the questions that motivated a group of environmental and educational professionals to form Sustainable Education Associates, LLC.
Although we wish it wasn’t so, there is no more denying or ignoring that our world is in distress. As a species, we face global issues such as climate change, resource depletion, and environmental degradation. Although there is no single entity capable of solving these and the many other problems facing future generations and our world, working together, we can control our own destiny. Each of us has the opportunity to play an essential role in the driving force moving toward positive global change.
After nearly 30 years as an Environmental Engineer, University and Secondary Educator, and Public School Administrator, our founder, Dr. Joseph Soporowski formed Sustainable Education Associates, LLC in order that environmental scientists and education professionals could share their expertise with any individual, group, or organization willing to become a part of the positive movement toward a sustainable planet. Whether the assistance takes the form of a facility-wide environmental audit and engineering design revision, or the learning experience provided by a topic-specific professional development session, SEA is here to help.
Solving future global issues is going to take dedication, knowhow, and some good, old-fashioned teamwork. Our front-running professionals can provide just what is needed for today’s decision makers and the next generation of leaders. The SEA team is comprised of University and High School Faculty, Public School Administrators, Educational and Environmental Consultants, Governmental Agency Program Managers, Health and Safety Trainers, Industrial Hygienists, Public Health Inspectors, Certified Remediation Specialists, Research Scientists, Regulatory Compliance Officers, and Published Authors. Every one of our Associates is dedicated to creating a sustainable world.
